Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager located in the Greater Chicago Area. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and completion for civil, transportation, and ITS infrastructure projects. Daily tasks include coordinating with team members and stakeholders, managing project timelines and budgets, expediting processes, conducting inspections, and overseeing logistics management. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Work Environment

Office-centric role with regular travel to active project sites across Illinois and Wisconsin, including the Midwest’s key metropolitan and regional centers (Rockford, Chicago, Peoria, Springfield, Beloit, Janesville, Madison, Milwaukee).

What You'll Do:

Lead multistakeholder infrastructure/technology projects from kickoff to closeout (scope, schedule, budget, risk).

Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams; drive QA/QC and change control.

Produce and review engineering deliverables; ensure compliance with Illinois codes/standards.
What You Bring:

Active Illinois PE License (Required).

Proven project management experience delivering civil/transportation/ITS or related projects.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation discipline.
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

Lead project kickoff meetings, establishing aligned objectives with all stakeholders.

Oversee relationships with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines.

Monitor project milestones, proactively identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Conduct rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews and site inspections to uphold high performance standards.

Administer change control processes, keeping documentation clear and compliant.
-
Review and approve engineering deliverables, ensuring complete adherence to technical specifications and Illinois regulatory standards.

Prepare and deliver regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership, fostering transparency and accountability.

Oversee budget management, track expenditures, and drive strong financial stewardship throughout the project lifecycle.

Facilitate open communication among all project parties, resolving issues and maintaining project momentum.

Direct logistics management, resource coordination, and compliance with all safety regulations.

Manage project closeout activities, ensuring comprehensive documentation of outcomes and lessons learned.
Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in project management platforms such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.

In-depth understanding of civil engineering, transportation systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

Thorough knowledge of Illinois building codes, DOT standards, and engineering documentation.

Expertise in inspection protocols, QA/QC best practices, and logistics management.

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.

Experience in contract management, procurement, and technical drawing review.

Proficient in risk assessment, change management, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications

Active Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required)

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline

3–5 years project management experience in civil, transportation, or ITS projects

Proven project management and expediting background

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a TIMS/NOC Support Engineer located in the Greater Chicago Area. Your primary responsibilities includes providinf 24/7 technical support and monitoring for telecommunications network infrastructure through the TIMS (Telecom Information Management System) platform within the Network Operations Center. Monitor network performance, respond to alarms, troubleshoot outages, and coordinate with field technicians and engineering teams.

What You’ll Do:

Monitor the realtime status of network devices in a TIMS/NOC environment.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors to triage incidents and restore service.

Configure devices as needed; assist with upgrades, patches, and acceptance testing.
What You Bring:

Strong understanding of digital communications fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, routing/switching concepts, SNMP/monitoring).

Hands-on experience with device configuration and network health tools.

Clear, concise incident communication and followthrough.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor network performance and alarms through TIMS platform in real-time

Respond to network incidents, outages, and service degradation events

Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for network issues

Open and manage trouble tickets in TIMS for network events and customer issues

Coordinate with field technicians, vendors, and engineering teams for issue resolution

Perform basic network configuration changes and maintenance activities

Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and SLA compliance

Maintain accurate documentation in TIMS of all network changes and incidents

Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and shift work

Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or management as needed
Technical Skills:

Experience with TIMS or similar telecom management systems

Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS)

Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure (fiber optics, microwave, cellular)

Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SNMP, Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.)

Basic understanding of routers, switches, and transmission equipment

Experience with ticketing and workflow management systems
Qualifications:
